What is the new legislation and who will be affected?
On 13th December, new legislation (the EU Food Information for Consumers Regulation 1169/2011) will require food businesses to provide allergy information on food that is sold unpackaged, for example in restaurants, catering outlets, deli counters, bakeries, butchers and sandwich bars.
