Anchor Data Systems have recently brought the latest in EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) technology to the world’s oldest independent department store. Austin’s Department Store in Derry may be older than Harrod’s and Macy’s but they have been quick to embrace the benefits offered by a modern touch screen point of sale system.

Anchor have installed a Protech PS6508 Terminal running the powerful Sentinel Retail Management Software package within the Bedeck concession area of the store. As well as supplying extensive sales reports in-store, this configuration also provides daily communication to Bedeck’s head office for automated replenishment of stock.

The Sentinel Software offers scanning capabilities, customer accounts, loyalty, bookings and on-line credit card authorisation. The package is suitable for use across a wide range of retail and hospitality environments. All sales and servicing is provided directly from our Head Office.
